Purpose and Goals of the Church
·Our purpose and goal is to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
· Our mission is to evangelize and disciple the lost through any biblical means necessary, making known to them, that we are created in the image of God, yet when Adam sinned all men became alienated from God and this brought all men under divine condemnation. Since man’s nature is corrupted, he is totally unable to please God on his own merit and is in need of salvation.
· Our goal is to make known to all unsaved that salvation is entirely a word of God’s free grace (Eph. 2:8-10) and not of our own works in any part, and isn’t based on our goodness, religious rites or ceremonies. God alone gives His righteousness to those who place their faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and for their salvation. This makes them justified by faith in Christ alone.
· Our goal is to disciple the saved through Bible study, Scripture memorization, prayer and other biblical means, to aid them in growth in Christ. So that they might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col. 1:9-11); that they might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
· The Holy Bible, in its entirety, is our guide for education, inspiration and operation.
· These bylaws are designed to ensure that members understand the basic operation of this ministry. They are written so that each member will be governed and regulated by them.
